How do I get hypergrowth?

 I really need to expand my region so I can make an impressive CJ but I need to build my city fast, so how can I get really high growth so I can expand into the millions?

I don't know that there's a specific recipe per se, but some general thoughts:

• You'll probably want to get a money cheat to enable you to run deficits and build infrastructure
• Work on a core central city (primarily) but build adjacent cities that you can make neighbor connections to. That will help your central city to grow.
• Once you get your main city to the point where you start to get hi-rises, your population growth can really take off.
• If you have a very large population city next to a small one,  and your population demand is very high in the small city as well, I've found that you can get hi-rises almost out of the gate to really help bump your population numbers.

Edit: You'll also want to get TONS of plugins. I have 2GB worth of plugins and still get a lot of repeating buildings.
