Grey preview and export

dont know if this is the right place but..

i build a rectangle, then apply edit slpine, apply extrude to 1.0 then uvw map and select any texture then preview i get grey wall. eporting is the same, grey...

any clues?

Right-click and convert to an editable mesh or poly, I think... Don't quote me on that, but that's what I did the first time I started using it.

    is your problem that you can see the texture but it wont appear in preview? My solution is just ro-open it. Works for me when i get it.

    thanks timmystwin,

    yah, i can see when moddeling in the 4 displays, but when i render/preview it all turns grey, the wall is the same, but the texture is grey, im thinking lights and camera rigs???

    should also note that i just got it, downloaded all required patches and opend bat4max

    beats me if youve tried everything here. You could ask a more experienced player/ BATter
