I think we could say that Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the big conquer of Modern Warfare 2.
As far as I have played it's even better.
Great graphics and awesome sounds, a shot outside is different then a shot inside a room or hangar.

I have Played both Bad Company 2 and MW2 and i have to say MW2 beats BB2 by a long shot. The graphics are not as good and there are bugs. Infinity ward definitely won.

However EA can redeem itself with the new medel of honor it looks promising.

Still gotta get BC2 - PS3 just broke so gotta by a new one before I think about getting some new games

heard its similair to the previous one (which I found really good) but of course MW2 kciks it ass in every way

I'm sure this topic is only about Bad Company 2.

I played the game through, and I have to admit, much larger leap forward from it's predecessor. Better graphics, better storyline.

I hated the tank mission though. Damn thing either went 50 miles an hour or didn't go at all. There was no in-between.

I have to disagree with that i found both the graphics and storyline to not be as good as the 1st one. Bad Company was funny while Bad Company 2 is constant swearing, i liked Hagerts jokes in the last one while all he does is drop F-bombs in the sequel. IMO it was a poor knock off of the first game. Also the game feels rushed perhaps they should have spent even more time on the storyline and less time trying to make it "badass".

Multiplayer-wise, I prefer Bad Company's team oriented play style to Call of Duty's lone wolf play. To be successful in BC you need to work as a team, and it's fun tagging up with friends or complete strangers on this game, whereas I find CoD gets too frustrating too quickly. However my all time favourite FPS multiplay experience is Battlefield 1943.

Singleplay-wise, CoD has much better visuals and has the wow factor, but the newer games seem to be too focused on the visuals and the Hollywood style action and not enough on the story (although I have only seen clips of Black Ops). BC tries to stay with a good story but somehow it's just not as fun as the first, and the graphics are far behind that of its rival.

The Vietnam pack looks good but I probably won't be getting it as I currently have a sporadic connection to Live.

I dunno. I find BC2 hard compared to MW2. I find the weapons weird looking. And seeing that u have to be careful in BC2, I'm surprised how some people just come out behind enemy lines and then killing me from behind. Anyway, trying to play now since Vietnam is out and planning to buy. Any tips for a newb =)?

I've been playing Vietnam and there are some really dark maps which require trench fights. Gotta say i like this add on better then the main multiplayer. Another thing i like is that the bases are blacked out meaning the enemy can't go there and spawn kill you kinda like MAG but they die if they attempt to go all the way in so now spawn killing which makes it much more fair.

Just played some Vietnam. Enjoyed it. There are some maps I don't like though. Though what annoyed me the most was this game I had a while ago. Some dumb--- medic tried to revive me constantly while in the crossfire. I died like 7 times because of that guy kept reviving me only to be shot, then to be revived to be shot again. I mean wanted to yell at him. From 3 kills 3 deaths, I went 3 kills 10 deaths. Unbelievable.

The snipers are also annoying here for some reason. I find them more annoying than in the original BC2 for some reason, but I can't complain. Sometimes, I am the sniper.

Other than that, I'm actually having some ISP issues so ISP issues aside, this is actually enjoyable. I still find MW2 more addicting than this though.

BC2 requires a good internet connection and speed in order to play properly. This what I dislike about BC2. Other than that, its awesome.

Just bought it, got really bored of all COD's recently. And to warm myself up for Battlefield 3.
