Maybe you want to download "Landscape Designer" and quickly create your own small(ish) maps with mountains and seas, I use it when ever I want a quick map. In conjunction with Sc4mapper I can have a smaller map to play on in less than 5 minutes, and they usually only need some minor terraforming in the game to make some flatter area to play on (but that's an option, I like flat areas to build, other people like to build on undulating landscape).

You could also try to re-size the jpg file of a region if you like the terrain but want it smaller there is a bunch of freeware on the net that allows you to resize images.  If you want to convert a larger jpg to a 5x5 region you need to do some calculations.  (I am assuming 5x5 means large (blue) squares)  1 red square = 64 tiles.  4 red squares = the length and width of a large blue square, so 4x64 = 256.  If you want 5 large squares by 5 large squares take 256 x 5 = 1280.  Add 1 to the end to = 1281x1281 and that is how many pixels you have to resize the jpg to.  Hopefully the resizing wont distort the image to badly.  If you like the end result just remember to change the config.bmp before you load the new region.

If you need help with the config.bmp you need to take your resized jpg pixel dimensions (1281x1281) subtract 1 to get 1280, and then divide by 64 to get 20x20.  That should be the new width and height of your config.bmp  If you are using MS Paint you can change config dimmensions under attributes.  From there if you need more help you can follow the tutorials on the omnibus on how to create custom config.bmps.   Good Luck, Hope this was helpful!!!
