South Kingsville the city of dreams.

now it just needs to be realised, and for that i have been choosen.

the location of this new city is going to be in a fertile costal area where Route 66 and Route 39 joins.

The City hall is under construction so there will be a new update very soon from our own office in South Kingsville

P.S. Since i have never tried to make a CJ before i constuctive critique/advice would be appreciaed.

Nicely done. Looks like you use the same map as I do for New Manhattan. Perhaps you could visit the journal for inspiration. 4.gif

What is the name of the map? , I haven't seen these in the PO (probably because they were always in use by others).

I believe it's just called "The Delta".

If I remember correctly, it's a limited edition single player map.

Greetings from our new office right here in South Kingsville.

    cxl_screenshot_southkingsville_11.jpg

As you can see our city hall has been finished and we have started work, a small group of 20 people, including me have moved to this, earlyer deserted, area.

This is our small town so far:
    cxl_screenshot_southkingsville_10.jpg

Allso we allready have made some plans for the future as some of the citizens have allrady made requests about starting some farms therefore we have designated an area for farming as seen on this map:
    cxl_screenshot_southkingsville_7.jpg

Allso i decided to trow in some more pictures to show you how the town looks.

Comming in from west route 66:

That was all for this time adios and see you all soon,

Cool update, thanks for your comment on New Manhattan.

One tip: keep industry and residential area far away from eachother. When the air pollution gets too much, people will complain and when farms nearby there profit rates will drop because of the pollution.

Yes i figured so, that's allso why i am planning to put the farms on the east side of town as you can see on the map, and the industry is gonna be on westside, when the city get's big enough i'm gonna move it to the other side of the river

tomorrow (1/2 g.y. 1) the work on upgrading route 39 to a small avenue begins witch has a good side and a bad side, good side is that more people will easylyer be able to come visit our lovely town, on the other side since route 39 will be broardened the city hall and a house or two must be rebuild a bit further down to make room for the road.

    Buisness:

The city's courent cashflow is: -1882

But as late as yesterday the mayor har promissed that: "the small cashflow situation we have at this time will be turned around in no time, and by the end of this month i promise that we will have a cashflow of at least +1882."

Allso we curently have 274.029$ availeble for use and the mayor statet last ting that: "all of the money we have availeble will be put to good use."

And at last the new buisness that has be set up in town includes: A charcoal refinery, biscuit factory market gardening and a couple of oithers.

In other news our beloved town has just passed 100 inhabitants.

Most small communities anywhere are normally started along water courses especially near the ocean. Probably near the piece of land that the river splits into 2 on the delta.

Not necessarily ---- this one had its start at the convergence of two roadways -- ever heard of the term 'The Crossroads of America'? This could be somewhere in Kansas or Oklahoma or Texas etc....

I wonder if South Kingsville is still growing or maybe its fate was abandonment? 2.gif
