Can i get some help on how to actually make a sim city building in gmax BAT?

I would love some help on how to do this, so that way i can make awesome buildings for my SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition.

Dude, I just started a few days ago, and clicking on the Omnibus up at the top, scroll down to 'BAT Essentials' by phillipbo and follow that tutorial. You'll need Gmax, the BAT Gamepack, the EP1 update for Rush Hour, and (maybe?) some other stuff I can't remember right off the top of my head. If you search around enough, or read the FAQ up a few topics on the main BAT- Open Discussion page, you can find most anything you need. Another thing that helped me, you can find generalized tutorials for how to use GMax on any search site, and especially Youtube. They can teach you the essentials of basics like modeling, arrays, UVW mapping/unwrapping, etc. A lot of guys have tutorials up for GMax in relation to flight simulators, and customizing older games (like Jedi Academy seemed to be a popular one), and you can find craploads of tutorials on how to do the basics. After that, pick a project you like, and start on it, saving all the time (GMax, at least for me, has a tendency to mess up a lot), and ask for specific advice where applicable, and maybe even message some of the 'greats' like Simfox, Jasoncw, etc., about specific queries. A standard, "How do I make BAT's?" will likely turn their heads. It pays to read the immense amount of content  already here. In a worst-case scenario, just download the ones you like from the STEX. There are a lot to choose from.

In short, do your research. Attempt it on your own (likely starting with the BAT Essentials tutorial), and when you get stuck, attempt to research the answer on your own first (you'll probably find the answer much quicker that way). If that fails, and when you have a specific query, ask it and that should hopefully help you get an answer.
