Avenue Medians flashing - NAM issue?

I'm using the latest NAM with 5x pathfinding and 2x capacity RHD.

When my avenue networks get big enough, the medians start to flash between R$$$, C$$$, industrial, whatever is contained within the avenue network.  The medians flash about every second or so, making the game unplayable.  Is this a NAM issue or a game issue?  I have tons of plugins running at the moment, but I remember this problem happening to me when I played vanilla.

Basically what happens is that the average wealth/zone type dominance changes so the avenue updates to it. Avenue is a strange network in that it updates along the entire length instead of just the localized area. This is Sc4 related, so NAM isn't causing this. To reduce the effect, try and build more intersections along its length.
