Replace Lot

I saw a lot of lot files that will replace the orginal building in the game, such as mayor's home, and airport. I want to ask if I already have built the Maxis mayor house and I apply the new replacing mayor house, will my game crash when I load the city?

I guess it depends....you might want to go ahead and destroy the old mayors house and place the new one.

I have tried mayor house replacements and they did not crash the game for me   what I got was the new lot

trying to occupy the same space (usually mayor house replacments have bigger lots)

so just bulldoze and install new lot
