Avenues Problems

My avenues blink and change, going from a solid medium with lights fixtures to a green medium with plants.  This is also a city that has crashed a couple of times recently when I try to save it but I don't know if there is any correlation.  Any suggestions?

The medium all depends on the type of developments that are by it. There are different ones for R$, R$$, R$$$, CS$, CS$$, CS$$$, CO$$, CO$$, Agriculture, ID, IM and IHT.

It is very normal for a median to change multiple times until the area is settled. Nothing to worry about.

For the save crash my only guess is that your computer isn't powerful enough to handle the strain. Is there any background programs running when this occurs (particularly virus scans, they are PAINS!) ?
