Disable mansions?

I'm a real mansions hater, for me they ocuppy too much space and ruin the city look. So, I'd like to know a way to block only the mansions, not every $$$ buildings as many mods do.

Can someone help me, please?

Im not sure that there is a mod to get rid of just the mansions, try raise $$$ residents to 20% or zone 2x2 lots

I can at least tell you it's very possible.

It's a simple mod, but it's time consuming and just not very desirable by most people[, a mod that specific]. All you have to do is raise the "A" Factor of req. demand for each mansion with a modding program. You may be asking "What is he saying?". Simply put, you make it so each mansion needs an incredibly high, unrealistic amount of demand to grow. The problem is that you have to do so with every mansion lot, and since there are probably over 20, it just takes too much time.

You can't, you'll have to use the reader for that. The solution about zoning is the one I prefer, as it requires the least amount of hassle. However, making a mod to do it won't be that difficult, though figuring out which buildings and lots to disable is, since the game can use the same building on more then one lot.
