$$$ res abandoning, help!

Hey guys! my new $$$ Res are abandoning my city, immediately after upgrading to $$$RES from $$RES , a no road connection appears on top of my new $$$RES and then it gets abandoned, saying due to commute time. which is imposible becuase i have highways and mass transit, and im using simulator Z (high) and I have Abundant IHT, and $$$Co and $$$Cs . What am I doing wrong? I bumped into a plug in several weeks ago that increases the job percentages for $$$RES in IHT jobs, But I can no longer find it. is that the answer to my problem? the creator of the plug in said that only 8% of jobs in IHT are set for actual $$$RES sims, in his plug in the percentage is increased to 2, therefore becoming 10%? is that true? pls help me guys, the abandoned mansions are an eyesore to my city!

You pretty much got it right. The problem is that even CO$$$ only employ 20% R$$$ sims (CS$$$ is only like 8% and IHT before that mod you mention apparently employs no R$$$), so it's hard to get R$$$ to a high percentage globally. That mod will help (which I can't find myself). Another option is controlling the influx of R$$$ with tax rates, which is what I have to do to stop the dilapidation.

Theoretically, though, because demand for the R$$$ is linked to the number of $$$ jobs, they shouldn't build if there are no jobs. It's possible that there are jobs somewhere else in the region that they can't get to. I agree the best option is to keep the levels of R$$$ down in the first place.

They're a tricky bunch. Have that problem myself. Apparently, GLR works for me.
