My idea for the loading screens

I was thinking today whilst watching the boring loading screen, wouldn't it be a nice idea for the system to randomly display a screenshot / postcard image of someones city instead of those dull icons? It could have an overlay panel with the major name, city name, planet and maybe token status, population etc as a summary.

It may give some inspiration or ideas sometimes, whilst waiting for your game to load (which can sometimes take a suspiciously long time)... would be a nice surprise every time!

I know it wouldn't be high on the list of priorities for the programmers, but would be a nice addition IMO!

What do you think? Is it even technically possible to get reasonable results 'automatically' or would a screenshot submission tool need to be built in and we decide what would make a nice view?

I wish it was a bit more like Little Big Planet in terms of the way they "share" content, tag creators u like the work of, and suggest good levels through a user voting system. The "planet" online has so much more potential to tie the game together, I do hope they expand on it somehow.

In the Sims 2, icons were displayed in the loading screen also. I was fine with that.

I cannot say too much about it right now, as I don't know exactly when it will come to the game, but I have seen work in progress to make the loading screens a bit more "sexy"
