Can't hit 20mil population

Hi, new poster here, been lurking these forums for the past months since there are no official CitiesXL forums.

Anyway I just wanted to blow off some steam here, after repeated crashes from playing. It's kind of frustrating trying to maintain on top on the ranks when your city cannot progress any further because of this bug. There is no way around it really.

Everytime my population goes over 19.2M and then whenever the game would save automatically or by going to planet mode the game crashes to desktop. I have plenty of gaps to fill in my city which I'm sure would possibly go over 20 mil without the crashing.

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy playing and learning this new game. But now it just feels like I am QA testing this game trying to figure out more specific causes to this consistent crashing I'm getting so I can avoid it.

I suppose I can focus on my other cities for now, but then again, I think I'll just take a break from the game until more features are added, and retire as the #1 populated city on my planet for the moment.

I'm only at a 1.5 million and I feel your pain.  Logging out every 45 minutes or whatever to deal with the memory leak is enough of a pain.  My laptop exceeds the specs but something isn't working right...dual core issue maybe?  There is a tech support forum here, but I'm not sure you'll get much help since you're at the forefront.  In most MMOs I've played the players on the cutting edge are always the ones that deal with bugs/glitches.  Thanks for the pics and Good luck.

Dont worry you passed me because my graphics card imploded and they dont support ATI Radeon 5700 series cards. Screen is nearly always blue fractals.
