Resolution glitch

I have already sent this to cities xl support but I'll also put it here in case anyone else has had this issue and found a solution.

I noticed the game was in windowed mode on the second day I was playing and wanted to put it in fullscreen 1440 X 900. I notices 1440 X 900 was not in the options. Nothing above 1024 X 786 was there, so I decided to just put it back in windowed mode.

But when I clicked on windowed mode; it dropped the game down into 1024 X 786 instead. the game will not enter windowed mode and the option to go back to 1440 X 900 doesn't exist, even though the game supports this.

I have updated my Nvidia drivers yestarday (GeForce 9600 GT), hoping that might have been the issue, but it didn't solve the issue.

Anyone else have this issue? Were you able to solve it?

The resolution stuff doesn't really do anything for me either. I cant set windowed mode from the options panel, however I do see resolutions higher than 1440x900.

To get Windowed mode, hit F2.

Unfortunately this option doesn't stick. Why are all these options there and never saved?

I have the same problem. I have a 16:9 monitor so the 4:3 format really stretches out everything. I can't believe they haven't added any wide screen support in this day in age. I bought the game when it came out on the 8th, it is now the 12th and still no updates were issued to resolve this. It seems like a relatively simple thing to fix but I'll still wait because I've already bought the game. But until it gets fixed I can't stand playing it all stretched out. Meanwhile, my 7 day online trial will expire in a couple days

Well, I ended up just reinstalling to fix it. MC will be doing a weekly maintanance every Wednesday, so we should assume that just like other MMO's, this will be the day of the week that they release the patches.
