I need help

Whatb do I have to do when I downloaded a nam bat or anything else. I don't know. Who can help me. Thanks

You download Lots and BATs to your MY DOCUMENTS/SIM CITY4/PLUGINS folder. Once in there you are going to extract the files you downloaded (get winzip or winrar). A lot of files will come with an .exe installer, if you have one of those just double click on it and follow the simple directions. Those files are all set and can be used in the game once you have completed those steps.

MODS generally go into the PROGRAM FILES/MAXIS/SIM CITY 4/PLUGINS folder. Just do the same thing you did for lots and BATs and your MODS will be ready to use in the game.

 

 

MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE README OR STEX DESCRIPTION FOR ANY DEPENDENCIES; MANY MANY BATS/LOTS NEED PROPS.

You can also manually take out the nessasery files out of the zipped folder and place them directly inplugins or in a new folder. Thats how I do it.
