Strange Game Crashes!

So I'm playing along, dadada. When all of a sudden... NNOO!! I'll try and describe it: It looks like the whole screen is cut in half. For instance, one half of a cloud is missing. I do have the MAC version, so I figured I'd post here. Can anyone help me?

Oh and one more thing I forgot: EVERYTHING freezes up.

I just had the same thing happen to me - and I am using a dual 1.8GHz G5 tower with 2.25GB of RAM.
I think it has to do with the constant rendering SC4 does when scanning terrain and your city, and zooming in and out. I lost a LOT of progress I made on a city w/o saving when it happened. Needless to say I was

We have at least 74 GB of Memory (RAM, isn't it called?). But then again, my dad does photo on here. He has one pic that's 1 gig! And how'd you fix it?

I'm not quite sure if this will solve the problem, but you can try downloading the update on the Aspyr website. If you have SimCity 4 without the Rush Hour expansion, try downloading the patch at http://www.aspyr.com/games.php/mac/sc4/ under the Support section.
