RHW problem

 Dear members of Simtropolis,

I have a problem with the RHW. I have a centre city, called Endhaven. Because it is a medium tile and the city was expanding very fast, I have created a new city north of Endhaven, called Endhaven Noord (North). I have a highway system and I use the RHW mod for that, but the only vehicles that are using the RHW are the freighttrucks. To test the traffic between the two city's I've laid down a regular road, which is now used by 400 cars. 

Why won't the RHW let regular traffic pass though other city's?

Hi Kaasbroodje-

You need to use a different method for building loop connectors with the RHW in order for non-freight traffic to go across the city tile borders.  The recommended way is through loop connectors, which you can read about here.

The reason the standard hook-up to the border doesn't work is because the game likes to bring the return trip traffic on the same tile, which it can't because the RHWs (aside from the RHW-2) are one-way.

We have figured out a more "attractive" solution using special puzzle pieces as well, which should be implemented by the next RHW release, whenever that ends up being.
