Hamburg's and Berlin's w2w architecture is indeed very similiar, that is a leftover of the emperor times(and before) more than 100 years ago.
In that times Hamburg was -afaik- often the second favourite city(of course the second one after Berlin18.gif) of the regnants and they wanted to have both city's very similar also because Berlin and Hamburg profited from each other very well.

When doing Hamburg w2w's, will you also do some pieces of the beautiful Speicherstadt?

Hello Erdmoebel, nice to have You back here! I started batting again after a long break too, and I am currently working on a large R$$$ berlin building (see my building thread). Those buildings look promising, keep the good work up!

Erdmoebel I say you release them.  After all they are just buildings.  Let the crybabies cry all they want, they'll get over it sooner or later.  We need more realism in the game, plus I want to make a better red-light district in my cities.  Those buildings you have shown look awsome, I can't wait to see more.

Erdmoebal it's good to see you back. It feels to me like you haven't been here in awhile. Hamburg is  alovely city, I once had the opportunity to spent a few hours there, It really wasn't enogh time at all. But I had the best kebab I've ever had in my life there (from a stall in the main station), took a brief tour of the Reeperbahn and even managed to find a bar with David Hasslehoff on the juke box. What more could I ask for??18.gif

I will definitely be back there on day, and for a much longer time.

Personally I think you should post pictures of your BATs here as long as you haven't modelled anything visually naughty.

It is nice to see you doing something with the BAT again, nice w2w buildings you are showing in the first pictures.
Hamburg would by the way be one of my favourite cities in Germany. Always drive through when going on holiday to Norway.

Anyway, Look'in forward to the next Reeperbahn BATs and btw, nice new Avatar 2.gif I love the banner of Hamburg with the old Hammaburg18.gif

First, that one looks very good19.gif

What do have no idea about? about the guitar(cause of the lightning of it?)?
You could make it an extra render(mabye 2, one for the guitar shape, and one for the 36) with another nighttexture und put it on the building later in the LE... If so, don't forget about good Custom Lods2.gif

The guitar pic is broken [edit: now it is working again?!?!]. However, You need to be a little artistic and change the design I guess. A neon tube is 1-2 centimeters in diameter and a tube in BAT needs at least 10 centimeters diameter to actually display in-game.

Try to nightlight the neon tube using the near and far attenuation to only light the neon tube:
