Puzzle Pieces Dilema

I recently bought SimCity 4 Deluxe, I came here, had lots of fun downloading loads of fancy stuff like new buildings, a yacht place and even some transport mods. Most of it was in perfect porder - I can place things like the yacht thing, though the transport things like canals, modified rail and such don't work. Has it got something to do with them being puzzle pieces?

Please help.

Please clarify more. How so? Does the game crash after plopping them?

No, I just can't place them. After I select, say, a canal, from the transport menu, no template appears for me to place it like if I was placing a train station or some civic building...

I'm having those problems with puzzle pieces, too. You're supposed to hit TAB to cycle through the different ones, but I get no previews before placing. Is that what's happening to you?

Ah. Are you saying that the only thing that you can see is a red arrow? If so, uninstall all NAM plugins then reinstall them.

That's exactly the problem I'm having. Do you have any solutions for it?

You can update the NAM Controller with the NAM Essentials, found here. Be sure to select the correct driving side.
