Is it worth getting for Mac?

 I recently bought a MacBook Pro 15". Now I'm wondering, is SC4 worth getting for Mac? I mean, would I have the pleasure of using STEX files - mods, lots, nam, and etc. on Mac? I still want to play SC4 and I'm thinking twice of getting it. Would I be able to use all the plugins? And is it as easy to navigate like as it is on PC?

No. Although plugins and everything else work on the Mac, you can kiss goodbye to beaches without the "tearing" glitch, extra third-party tools, custom nightlighting, and reasonable speed. Buy it for Windows.

And the Windows version of SC4 seems to run pretty good on Wine/Crossover, so there is no need to have an actual copy of Windows to use the Windows version of SC4 on your Mac.

i installed XP on to a 15 gig boot camp partition for the sole purpose of playing the windows version... now THAT's worth getting

SC4 works great, regardless of if you are on a PPC Mac or an Intel Mac. Speed is great, all plug-ins work, and aside from some visual glitches (night lights & beaches), everything is great. It is not worth Bootcamping or even using Parallels just to play a game.

Totally worth it. I'm pretty sure it runs smoother on my 13" macbook than it has on any PC i've played it on, including my 3.6GHz XP PC.

Been playing it on my Mac for months with no problems. No crashes. plugins work and night lighting works. Like it better on the Mac than on my old PC.
