Recently I was talking to a friend at school, and on his binder I noticed he had a picture of his hunting land from google, I asked him how he got that and he told me he had no idea...

It just came up to me today again and I was wondering how I could maybe copy a certain image from google maps...

Do I need to download google Earth?

if so help would be appreciated 9.gif

If you want to "copy" an image from google maps, it's easy. Do it the same way you'd take a screenshot of anything. Hit Print Screen (Prt Sc), open your image editor of choice (MS Paint will work just fine), hit Ctril+V... and, if you did it right, an image of what was on your screen should be sitting there (minus the mouse pointer). Then it's just a matter of cropping out the piece you want and saving the image. I'd recommend saving it in PNG format, it'll be smaller in filesize than the default (bitmap), but without loss in quality (which you will get if you save it in jpeg format as some others might recommend).

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.
