Well guys, very very bad news. Tyler [thatmonkeysim] just told me via EMAIL that his pc caught on fire or something, the thing is this cj will be closed maybe till April.

i would think that yours is better cuz you have 3Mil!!! i almost have 900K thats all... i will get an update for this journal within the week but right now my attention is focused on the other journals im working on mainly cuz of the lagg time in IC but thats ok...

well not update cuz a friend is borrowing my SC4 disk...

but i have a question

how can you zone perfect on a diagnal cuz right before i gave my friend my disk i couldnt get that one part of New Beaverton zoned and it really bothering me...

can you guys help??

well since i havent updated this CJ in almost a month lemme get everone reaquinted with Independence City with a region update...

 

There are all of the major districts and the population which is now close to 900K...

and here is the elaberate expressway system...

here is Independence Point (that place that had the tall spire). This is one of my first cities on the hard setting with 6K people living there with 15K commercial jobs. As you can see this has a road layout for a suburb.

here is what i consider the downtown are of Independence Point. As you can see I put it between an avenue and the East Stone River, the reason i did that was so I could rasie the desirability for taller buildings. I usually dont do this but after many failed attempts i figured out that desirabilty for C does matter alot more on hard than easy...

This is the second Resort Hotel in the IC area and im happy thats its here...

dig1tal-well right now im working on a suburb for Downtown on this side of the river but if i can get another city down E3 to turn in to a high density city then i will show you guys....but right now im this is going to be a med and low dens city

wow its been along time since ive been in here....again!!

 

well since its been along time since ive even touched this region ive decided to redo the downtown and Avalanche City to put in all the talents into it ive learned since April i might even redo the Independence Heights to be more like a suburb...

 

well lets just say that the population will drop dramaticly from 865K to about umm...lets say about 430K because instead of like in my early days where i just wanted to have the biggest population ever now im gonna make it alot more realistic than ever before right now ive already started on downtown...

ok just from the trans pic can you guys tell me whats all different?? [just a little fun to keep you all busy while im finishing up to show a close up]
