Help With Lots

Hi, I'm kinda new to Simtropolis and SimCity 4.....but I need to know how and where to install custom lots and buildings.

I just started to download some new stuff for my city of about 25 000 people and I don't know where to install them.

If anyone can hel me that would be great

Welcome to Simtropolis Squidhy!

I'm glad to see that you're availing of the ST - Exchange and this whole site.

Anything you download from the ST - Exhange should be put into the "plugins" folder which is in the "Simcity 4" folder that is in "My Documents".

Thanks....all though I still can't seem to get my money tree to work....but every thing else works!

Where did you download it from?

I got it Mega up load (same with pretty much everything) and it's the only thing that DOESN'T work. I have put it in my plugins folder.

Oh no never mind I found the Money Tree.....Is was labled small park.

The Extra Cheats.DLL is a better thing to use, find it on this site.

There used to be a sidebar in the STEX with the top 50 mods, but that disappeared around 3 months ago when they updated the website. Mods can be difficult to find, but search the STEX or go HERE. Now to find mods, go to the STEX (the button under the ST logo), and on the right hand sidebar, select "Modd Files". That'll take you to the same place as that link.
