Trains do not run.

I have recently retarted Sim City 4 a few months ago.
I ran in to a problem with education and the funds dissapearing from the school budgets.
I removed the downloaded schools I had.
I replaced my files from a back up I had.
I created a new region and started again.
My City has over 50,000 population. The education is working fine.

Unfortunately I now have a problem with my railway lines.

My Fire engines will not cross my traintracks, either by level crossing or bridge.
Also my trains are not running.

I have over 50, 000 of a population in my largest city (Large tile),
I have smaller cities which border it and the trains do not run there either.
Passenger or freight.
Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to resolve it.
Open to sugestions please.

Maybe you have the incorrect version of NAM....Do your sims drive on the left, or on the right side of the road? If they are driving on the left, you need to check the "Left hand version" at the bottom of the checklist in the NAM installation...

My trains are running and my sims are getting happier by the minute.

Ticked the box and every thing is ok.

While on my sc4 patch is on my desk top. Must I leave it there or can I move it to my Sim city 4 folder?
