Remember Jamestown? The first ever american Colony? Good. You may have wondered what happened to it.

Well, it was gradually abandoned. Now all there is is a reproduction of the original colony and farmland. But I have different ideas! I intend to develop a  new great city on the site! NEW JAMESTOWN!! Feel free to give me your proposals! And I shall be mayor! YES!

Well, first things to raze the entire zone. Who cares if people protest it? I need the space!

Next, a starter layout

A nuclear plant will do fine for future power needs.

Jamestown_29.jpg

Yay! I've already attracted a developer! CyberCorp Inc. wishes to build a branch here. But, I can already smell something... funny. Better keep an eye on them.

Now I'll build a row of brownstones and an art gallery to attract a (somewhat)higher class

A police box might ward off crime... for now.Jamestown_31.jpg

And I haven't seen SCS before at all! I have heard of it, however. I shall read future updates with continued great interest.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Kingdiz Actually, it's quite fun. You're right, the all-plopping system can be quite cumbersome

Jacqulina Thanks. However I feel I've left off a bit early on it.

Schulmananator  Yes, I hope the Schulminions befriend the cat lovers of my city someday.

mayorbk The last one hasn't been updated for a very long time, that's why I started this

astronelson yes, I hope to show Simtrop more of SCS EVEN THOSE WHO HATE IT!!!(Evily laughs)

danielcote That's what I'll fix with this update!

    Twenty20 Yup

Victor Valdes Yea-WAIT A MOMENT! TRIXIE WIN WITH 272 POSTS? WOAH18.gif

    Petrovar Ambassador Yes, it's Societies

ironicepitome it's more well known, and people would protest my putting a huge metropolis next to Jamestown Island

Note that I'll let you request to build something (Mansion, Offices, Carnivals etc) in-game, and let you see the results and modify them.

                                                                           UPDATE 2

Well, a lot has happened since I let off, so get ready!

Those pesky protesters seem to be basing themselves in this radio station, I'd better keep an eye on them.

    Jamestown_32.jpg

I can see that this place is becoming more than just a few buildings. We've even got window washers!

    Jamestown_33.jpg

With a crowing city comes growing crime and corruption. But why would the riot police be based here?

    Jamestown_34.jpg

With all these upper class residents, a plastic surgeon should do well.

    Jamestown_35.jpg

CyberCorp seems to be getting nervous for some reason. I'll get some corporate cops too, methinks.

    Jamestown_36.jpg

Finally! This place should do as city hall

    Jamestown_37.jpg

Oh dear. A slum seems to have sprung up by the prison. What with the occasional escapee, a vigilante group has formed. Better do something soon.

    Jamestown_38.jpg

To the south, a more suburban area has emerged.

    Jamestown_39.jpg

The local kids have built a clubhouse. Maybe I'll visit someday...

    Jamestown_40.jpg

Elsewhere, an apartment complex has arrived.

    Jamestown_41.jpg

Finally, I've built a HUGE shopping complex. Would love to shop there.

    Jamestown_42.jpg

    Here's a beautiful skyline, now
