Obnoxious Helicopter Buttons

I run SC4 at the lowest resolution (my computer is on it's deathbed) to keep the gameplay from lagging, which in turn makes the menu, and those U-Drive-It vehicle buttons that I'm complaining about, pretty large in relation to the city view. I don't mind the menu taking up a third of the screen (I usually only work on small scetions of the city at a time anyway), but those silly mission buttons that appear above the hospital/army base/deluxe police station/etc helicopters always follow my mouse around and get in the way when I'm trying to click on something to demolish it, and since the resolution (800x600) makes them sorta-big, they're hard to manuever the mouse around. Is there anyway, either through a mod or some setting in the game I haven't found yet, to keep them from moving to the pointer when I highlight a building, or even disable them entirely? Fat chance, yeah, but you never know...

There is a setting to turn them off!  Go to my sim mode, u drive it, click on the bottom button on the bar that comes up.
