Trees slowing down the game...

Hey there

I just installed the game (SC4 + RH) again because I had to get a new Windows (XP) and now this:

I'm used to it, that the game becomes "unsmooth" when planting lots of trees or if I zoom out in a pretty large city. I guess it is just normal because the game was not programmed that well or something like that... anyways I got used to it, since it always went away after some seconds and the game was fine again.

But now as soon as I plant a few trees (Mayor Mode) the game becomes VERY slow... as soon as I build roads (for example) or move the screen (ingame ), even the mouse doesn't move smooth for a moment.

Maybe I have to reinstall all tree-mods (instead of moving them from the "old" folder into the new one)? Or do you think it's something different?

I tested with a tree-less city and everything worked finde, thats why I suspect the trees...

(using tree-replacement, tree-controller, no-palms and a few tree-packs, not remembering all the names right now...) The very same stuff worked before new installation btw., all the things are just moved from the old Plugins to the new Plugins folder.

Maybe some of your mods don't play well with others.  Remove all of your mods and test them one by one to see. Note of advice always test new plugins on a test city so you won't have to destroy cities you treasure because of a corrupt plugin.
