    I'm kind of new to the game, but what i've noticed when comparing mine to my friends version, mine sucks.  There are no beutiful hudges and well laid out fences around my houses, i just have a house, and a brown slotch of ground under it.  Has anyone else had this problem, and/or know how to fix it?

    welcome to Simtropolis, luke129;
    first off, i took out your email address - you might get some emails you do not want.

    as to your question...what are your graphics settings at? upon installation of Rush Hour, the graphics are automatically taken to the lowest level - an annoyance, that is. this is done by Maxis to overcome any potential lag.
    hopefully, this answer your question...however, if it does not, don't be afraid to say so.

    I tried messing with the settings but none seemed to have any effect on it.  any other tips.  My game was ripped of Limewire, i dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.  If you can find me a better place to get a copy that'd be great, i just don't have 30 bucks to spend on toys right now.  Thanks.

    I would recommend not saying you stole the game off limewire. But I have had that problem before, and like Mr. Cinatit said, change the city detail settings to medium or high, and you should notice the changes the next time you start the game.
