teacher strike, what do i do??

in one of my cities , i think around 90,000
i seem to have pleanty of schools etc but in the news ticker they keep saying this school is a joke..
and the teachers are striking due to the lack funding even when i put the funding upto the white line thing..
im not sure what to do?

Find out which school is striking and raise their individual funding.  After a few months the strike should be over.

ive done that but they still strike

Query the individual school to see the capacity of the school and the number of students you have. If the maximum capacity at max funding is still lower than the number of students, then you'll have to build another school nearby. If not, just raise the funding on the individual school, not just the aggregate education funding which you find in the budget menu. Hope that helps.

What kind of school is it?

I mean, is it a small, a large, a high school?

Because, if you have 90k, you better have larges.

not neccessarily. Depending on the age of the citizens in that area, Large schools may not be needed at all.

Usually, I just bulldoze the school and replace it with a larger capacity school. This way, funding can be adjusted according to population. It would be nice if one could set the budget to auto adjust as students come and go.

It is either that the school doesn't have enough funding, or is over capacity.

You may have more schools than fit into your Master Education Budget window; if so, you need to scroll down by clicking on the little down arrow just above and to the right of the subtotal.

Yes, the colours are wierd, I accidentally inverted them while I was clipping the screenshot, and liked how it resembled an old-style chalkboard so I left it that way.
