industry jobs problem

Hello, please help me! I ave played the game for some time but new to custm content and just started a new city.

There is high demand for indstrial jobs - the lots develop quite normally etcc.. however, none of the population will commute or work at a single industry - regardeless of locality and transportation.

As a consequence there are also empty residential lots. I'm assuming the game has faulty issues with recognising industrial jobs and allocating them, and thus driving immigration to the city.

Any ideas why tis may be. Also- I installed some 'industrial filler' lots, which are preventing a lot of large MAXIS dirty industries from growing- is this related? , how can this be fixed?

It might be the filler lots. The files inside the lots may be hindering anything from working properly. Try removing them from your plugins folder and look to see if this helps at all.
