Is there a list somewhere (if not could someone please make one for me that they are sure about) of all the transits types listed in an order from fastest - slowest (or something like)? If there is a list could someone please tell me where it is or give me the link to it?

         Roads:                                   Rail:

Slowest is streets.                    Rail, I don't think any which is faster but

Then comes roads.                    Subways are surely the fastest.

Then avenues.

Then highways.

@Ironzer -- the speeds and capacities of your transit networks depend on your traffic simulator.  If you are using NAM, they will be different from the Maxis default values, and the various traffic simulators included with NAM have different values of their own.  I don't know the speeds for all of them, but I'm a strong proponent of simulator z.  You may be able to find the default Maxis values in the Omnibus, and the values for the other simulators should be floating around in the NAM Discussion thread.  Here are the speeds (in kilometers per hour) and capacities for all networks and transit types in all four versions of simulator z:

Speeds are the same for all versions of simulator z

Walking - 15 kph on all networks where walking is allowed.

Driving - Roads: 50, Highways: 120, Streets: 40, Avenues: 70, One-Ways: 50, RHW: 120, Ground highway: 120.

Bus - Roads: 40, Highways: 120, Streets: 15, Avenues: 60, One-Ways: 40, RHW: 120, Ground highway: 120.

Passenger Train - 200.

Freight Truck - Roads: 40, Highways: 120, Streets: 30, Avenues: 60, One-Ways: 40, RHW: 120, Ground highway: 120.

Freight Train - 150.

Subway - 150.

El Train - 175.

Monorail - 250.
