Anyway to make the game run faster?

Hey, I have a huge plugin-folder and this makes my game lag and run terribly slow. Is there anyway I can make the game run faster, or a patch to download or something???

You should check out the DatPacker tool over at SC4Devotion.com

It merge all your files into mega-packs. Very useful for massive plugin-folders. While youre there get the Cleanitol as well..

If youre short out on RAM you can increase your virtual mem. to 4Gb, by right click "my computer" icon, go to properties, advanced then "performance settings" then advanced again. In the "virtual memory" set number to 4096 (XP) or 4095 (vista).

Upgrade your hardware

Close all programs which are using your RAM before opening SimCity (MSN, qtorrent,...)

ctrl + alt + delete

Gets to your PC's task manager. Close the programs that run in the background that you don't need. Only close ones you are sure about. I do this all the time.

I plan to buy more RAM for my computer.
