I'll get more updates on that... I haven't gotten any pictures yet. But, I have been playing it for a little bit. Thanks again for the comment Schulmanator. Huuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh........................... Had a rough start on this journal and it took me some time to get the hang of things.

It's rather nice, but I think you should use more plugins (NAM, for example), and turn off the grid.

I get the "turn off the grid" thing a lot. And, as for the NAM, how would you suggest using it? I already got it, but, I don't exactly know what to do with it... Help...Oh, and as for the whole town, I'll post a picture to help you with the voting because the pictures don't exactly give a clear picture of the town.

Oh and as for the result of the voting, the highway won at an amazing 30% of all votes. I'll be posting on it soon.

Update 1

Before I forget, thanks to all of you that voted.

The result of the voting was that the highways should be put up for the city. Here is a picture of a replaced Avenue.

Now, as time goes by, things change. Some changes may be good or bad. But as for mayor, the changes are all too good. Seeing a bigger picture, mayor, now permitted the building of small apartments and some offices. But, as with any change, something has to be done. What needs to be done for the city is to provide water due to the fact that the city is still relying on the river for water.

Here we have a picture of the water station that the mayor has put up.

After being put up, the mayor now decided to finally allow the building of apartments in the city in order to satisfy the demand and to do it in less space.

Here are a couple of pictures I took to show you what happened after the new implementation of the law. Oh, and before I forget, the law is only for the town proper.

Here we see some of the first apartments to spring up in the city.

And of course, last but not the least, is the current picture of the city along with some development on the lower part with some apartments going up and some offices that were just built.

Update 2

You see, as a city grows so too does its size. For Atkinson, it's pretty obvious. Now, for my second update, I'll show you some of the new things in Atkinson.

Here, for the first time ever, Atkinson has mad it's own train line.

On this picture, we see the major El Rail station which connects the business district to the industrial zone.

On this next picture, it shows that the industrial zone has moved to make room for future development and a new area is made.

Seeing that pollution has overcome nature, the mayor decided to have a tree planting program that would, theoretically, reduce pollution in the area.

Having no more room on the island, a newer and better industrial zone is placed near the edge of the island. And, with jobs coming in, people too have too come and that is why, in a third island, commercial and residential areas are zoned.

With the city's success, the mayor, too decided that it was time for something new. So, in a stroke of luck he decided to put some money on a minor league stadium and, to his amazement, it was a success.

buildings and stuff from the STEX as you see fit in your city, a little less repitition. for example maybe replace some of your factories with some from the STEX

and btw, did I forget to mention how I love the shape of your city? I like how they look like islands!

Update 3

As I said before, as a city's population grows so too does its size. In Atkinson size matters. You see, a great size is good but, if you can't give any quality, it will be useless. Seeing the importance of people in Atkinson, the mayor decided to move in a nice house along with his people. Doing so, he was now able to asses everything in the city quite easily. During his few days there, he found out that many crimes were going on around the city. Knowing this, he got on the phone and asked if his friend could help recruit some people. After getting the men needed, he then set off to build a police station and city jail for his people.

Right after doing this, he found out that there was another problem, water. You see, Atkinson has been relying on those two small pumps for water supply but now, they have started to become less able to cope with the demand. So, to cope with this, the mayor has set up a project for a large water plant.

So, to help improve the lives of his people, he had many programs to keep every individual in the city happy, fulfilled, and active. With this, the city has gotten players for their league and has happily won the interstate competition.

But, he was not satisfied. So, to make life there even better, he made many more things and in the following pictures, you will see what had happened.

And of course, Atkinson as we know it today.
