How do these people make these HUGEEEE regions. It looks as if they made the whole map 1 region. They recreate these cities like it's a real map
How'd they do that?

There is a file called "config.bmp" (which goes in the folder of your corresponding region) that you can create. I highly recommend doing this BEFORE you build your region, as it can create all kinds of havoc if you do it to a region that is halfway built if you don't know what you're doing.

To elaborate, if you wanted to make a region based off of Cincinnati, Ohio, you'd create a folder in your "Regions" folder and put Cincinnati's config.bmp in there.

You can edit the pixels (I recommend doing this in multiples of 2 in EVEN numbers) to make the map smaller or bigger to your tastes. For example, I usually go 60x60 for larger regions that I create. You can go higher (or lower) based on how much memory you have on your PC.

As for USGS-scale maps, take a look in the Omnibus. It shows you how to make them. You can learn to make accurate-scale maps of anything from NYC to Kane, Pennsylvania if you wish.

Hope this helps you :-)
