A CJ obsession turns it into a homepage.

I recently started reading CJs and have since then read many of them. One of my most favorite ones, the Follomer Chancellery, I read so much I made it a homepage on my Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Is this going too far, and have you ever thought about it?

Making one particular CJ your homepage does seem a bit far but having Simtropolis as your homepage isn't

Well, Simtropolis is my homepage, it's just that the CJ is a homepage on a different tab so I can stay up to date quicker. And, my 10th, 25th, 35th, 40th, and 50th posts were on that CJ as well as being the first CJ that I ever read.

Simtropolis has been my homepage for... ages, now. Since 2003. But just the front page, not a particular thread or forum, ever.

I personally am not into CJs much. For the most part I couldn't care less what other people are doing with cities and regions in SC4. Playing the game is fun, watching other people play it is not, ya know?

...that said, I myself haven't touched Simcity in ages. I've even uninstalled it from my computer. The three key reasons being 1) me getting older and somewhat losing interest 2) the game having so many plugins that it keeps crashing and not wanting to go back to square one without all that custom content 3) a sense of "Ew, that's made by EA. It's unclean. Get it off my hard drive."

While Simtropolis is not my homepage (my UConn email is...) I've got a row of bookmarks at the top of firefox and simtropolis is the first one on it.

Duke87: I know what you mean. When I first got my computer in March my homepage has been Simtropolis, even though I joined in April. And I know about the EA thingy with Securerom and other crap, but this was only published by them. Maxis developed it. And I like seeing what other people can create. It gives me ideas for a future region or city.

My homepage is an offline links page my dad made. Eh, I don't really know how to describe it other than that.

Schulmanator: Wow. A legend on a lowly bored guy's forum. And how do you set it to no homepage on Firefox?

BlondeTwiggy: Yeah. Dad's can be so depressing (if I ever saw him). And I think we should make bumper stickers and hand them out with donations.

I suppose I'll join the party. I use CBS Sportsline as my homepage. It's the best sports page on the web. Simtropolis is the top bookmark and probably my most frequented page. Is it weird that you use someone else's cj as a homepage? Maybe, but what do I know? I'm a guy who uses Spider-Man as his avatar!
