    Harbor Crossing

    Harborcrossing.jpg

Papatoetoe Bay and the Papatoetoe tunnel are the main attractions just west of Cook, the new city I happen to be working on. I am trying to give it a New Zealand style twist and this could possibly follow with a full out CJ (posted in this thread of course 3.gif) if I like it enough, and if you south of the equator chaps don't think I royally mess this one up too much!

The M-1 on its way west towards the capitol Cook, one of only two national motorways on Key Island. The tunnel was constructed in 1998 as shipping lanes became more prominent in travel of both people and goods from the Island to Australia, New Zealand and the outside world. A common site, the passing of ships which blow their horns as they pass each other, bring crowds of both Cook inhabitants and international travelers.

Awesome harbor crossing, I really like the tunnel and the trees! Great terraforming, it would be cool to see a New Zealand type CJ, there are tons of Auckland and Australian-like building there for you to use, it could be a nice departure from usual European cjs we're used to.

I was looking at the pictures and went like: "Since when does Tyrol have a sea-border???"... I tend to look at all images first and then read 3.gif

But I see you're going to make this more of a showcase thread? Well, I'm happy with that! Will be able to find some hot eyecandy in here then =)

A FINE FRENZY DAY TO TAKE A DRIVE

    Top2.jpg

    topmiddle3.jpg

    Middle2.jpg

    BottomMiddle2.jpg

    Bottom2.jpg

Our journey begins today in the small town of Melrose, which is about 12 Km south of Cook. The city is a haven for overworked cook inhabitants that need a break to go surfing or tan on the famous rocky beaches of South Hampton. Houses row up against the jagged coast and small comunities pop up where ever the mountains break to give room. The city of Melrose however is also the home of Canterbury's Wanatakeitcomegetit Submarine Base, which allows residents some of the most amazing views of submarines leaving the bay.

    Bottom-2.jpg

Just above the city of Cook the Wanatapeti Highway curves and snakes along the slowly rising mountains that surrounded the city. Numerous development plans for this area have sparked much outrage as citizens of Cook push for National Park refuge in this area. The Highway was until 1996 the only way to reach Melrose and Southgate until the M1 was expanded.

SirUnger - I beleve its one of Cycledoggs textures, along with all his wonderful flora. The Columbus Terrain I think,
