Tunnels and traffic generator

Hey, I'm new here. 4.gif

I've been looking at this page for 2 days now, downloaded some stuff and adored the fantastic cities you make (some of them are really good).

Today I was looking at some traffic jams pics; here I read about something called "Traffic generator". What do it do and where can I get that - is it a add-on at all?

And then to the tunnels. I've downloaded some infrastructure files, in here some tunnels entries and exits. Everything goes well when I build the entry, however, when it comes to build it longer than the entry, it goes wrong. How do I make tunnels long? Is it possible at all to build long tunnels just going under the ground?

And btw. After downloading a road pack, I've lost the on- and off ramps to the lowered highway. That's rather annoying - what do I do here?

Hello, Bamsefar73,

Welcome to Simtropolis.  The following link is for meinhosen's Traffic Generator.  It's just a mod that makes more traffic automata appear on the networks, it doesn't actually increase traffic in the game engine.  Hope that's what you were looking for.

I'm not sure what is happening with your other issues, as I don't have any experience with custom tunnels or ramps disappearing.  It might help to name the specific files and packs you downloaded, tho.

Enjoy the game.

I've downloaded the NAM; I don't know if it's that which makes the on- and off ramps disappear..

Get the new Nam, and in the installation you can choose how much traffic you want... I've used it, but it's very unrealistic. Recomend you searc on Traffic generator on the STEX.. that one is better and gives you heavy traffic where you want to have heavy traffic 9.gif

Hi Bamsefar, thats the latest version of NAM you got there.

But you mentioned some tunnel entries and exits. If they are ploppable Im not sure but usually u have to connect them to subway lines for them to work. 2.gif

About the ramps I dont know, they should be in the HW menu if you TAB your way through...

    Good luck! 1.gif
