Is there going to be some sort of plot to this? This is the city-journal forum. If you're just going to post pictures, maybe you should try posting in a "Show us your..." or the General Forum.

meh who cares simcity is about making what city u like how u like it.

but to creat realism in to it too.

that airport looks awkward and small

the twin towers look good where they are but u need more custom content

and keep up the great work.

I have some advice for you:

1. It has the theme of downtown Denver, but it is not a recreation.

2. I think you should change the name of this CJ, and say it is inspired by downtown Denver.

3. Do not attach pictures in a CJ -- embed them in your post.

4. Get more STEX stuff -- browse the LEX and STEX, and download what you like.

Hope this helps.

Good luck with your CJ -- I think it has a lot of potential; you just need to unlock it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his city there is a little *lot* to many skyscrapers, but that is just a fine buildign techniquw. as for the name, is does not neccisarily denote the city ni colorado, this could be *is* a whole different town!

That's a lot of skyscrapers...not much like Denver though. Maybe you could say it's inspired by Denver?

I think that the skyscrapers you've plopped are very nice, but the whole skyscraper jungle thing isn't really my thing. The rest of the buildings seem to be made by Maxis, so a little bit more custom content couldn't hurt. Overall it's a pretty good CJ, but it would be much better with a plot.

Your skyscraper district looks great... one tip for you: add some parks around your district to create open spaces to allow "air circulation" around your city! Nicely done!

Hmm its a big city... but its not Denver. No quest tower, no Bank of America tower no union station, not Denver.

But I must say you did a great job building the city! Keep it up. One more thing - turn off the sidebar, just by clicking the box in the bottom left.

A big city, and I believe you have a great start. As what wishfulanthony said, you should still make more parks / plazas for sim recreation. 4.gif

City Journals come in many forms. to say that is counter-proactive.

I think it's a wonderful CJ.  I see no houses or building on top of sloped terrain with driveways 20 feet high. ( bugs me btw. can't ya tell) ? LOL.

    I've named my city journal Neapolitan.....but it ain't ice-creame

So what if it's not the DENVER we know.  It's Denver cus he said so.

    I like it.

Keep up the great work friend.

    -Vin.
