This game has been going on for quite some time now, and I thank mancoolman for creating it. I also hope to see him back again posting and guessing. For now, I thought I would list all the cities that have been posted. That way we can refrain from repeats for at least another several pages. After a while it may be OK to post again. But there are a lot of cities out there that have yet to be seen here. Anyway, here is the list

That's a lot of cities. Some countries have not even been represented yet. Some only once like New Zealand and Japan. Really? Japan only once? Hard to believe since there are many cities there. I see this game going on for a while and I applaud that. Also, here's a thought. We have only posted satelite photos so far. Showing real life photos would add some difficulty. Or maybe maps with no names... if one could find such a thing. 

So what do you guys think? Keep it satelite photos only... or maybe a mix? It's up to us.

On another note, just for anecdotal purposes... The week that Szeged was posted was right after my roommate approached me with a can of meat rub, or seasoning powder... I can't recall. But all it said on it was Szeged, with a picture of a pig. Some other stuff too, but it was of no importance. I didn't put it together until he came back to me with it a couple days ago and asked if I figured out where it came from. I had, in fact, but I didn't connect the two events. Weird, b/c I have never heard of that city before last month.

I'd love to play a 'guess that city' game from real life photos (I do that all the time when I watch movies, lol). I think it would be cool to have a separate forum for that one though & keep this one strictly airphotos (not really a big deal though, but it makes sense to me). Muck, thanks for the list! I can point out that Cork, Ireland & Spokane, Washington were never included in the game though, they were just incorrect guesses. I also recall Colombo, Sri Lanka & Singapore being cities that were guessed. I'll be referring to that post for sure if I post again...

Me too!. I don't know if you have ever seen "Surviving The Game" with Ice-T and Gary Busey, among others... but they show a shot of Philadelphia but label it as Seattle. That always bothered me.

Thanks for your help with editing the list... I can't belive I left Colombo and Singapore off... I went through and wrote them all down... My bad about Cork and Spokane... fuzzy memories at this point. 

I like the separate thread idea as well... if anyone wants to start it feel free. I'll be back on tonight and I may do so... but I've got a meeting at 7:30. Dart league is starting again, and my team is excited as we haven't played for over  a year. Anyway... it's all RL stuff and nobody cares about that...

That's right. I was going to do Super Bowl Champions, since I posted around that time, But there would be too many cities that are way too easy to guess, so I went with Lord Stanley's Cup. Plus that enabled Tampa to be on the list, which gave a little Super Bowl love.

That's right, krakola45. I'm really sorry I dropped the ball on that, all. You are right to assume that the cities are capitals. They all are except for Dayton of course. I intended to put in Indianapolis. I had the labels off on Google maps, and I though I knew my geography a little better. For the sake of the theme just pretend that Dayton is Indianapolis. Good luck!
