Interesting opinions, Angus Mac Barca. I personally don't think CXL will be too bad, because I have a feeling that there would never be a complete game, as gamers will want to expand almost any game. Six years from the release of SimCity 4, Simtropolis artists are still making extra buildings and adjustments to the game.

just took a look at the 63 screenshots I got via ea newsletter...

on the one hand, this game looks ... well... way better than societies...

on the other hand, I think... it looks to childish to be considered a "real simcity" (quote ea-newsletter)

and then, even worse, I have the very very bad feeling that simcity turns into one of EA's annual-release-games like e.g. NFS.

what would definitely kill the saga mr. wright started a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
