cant save the city

if i have 550k populations in the city and i save, the game never saves! its not responding, like after clicking the save button, the game is saving and then it quickly turns into the sc4 mouse icon, and doesnt have a save complete pop up text. please help me! i had defragment and clean the disk for tons of times.

you all should know my pc specs and i have 162 building plugins installed and 10 mods plugin.

I've never heard that before...  Just let it sit for a while, it takes a LONG time.

thanks for the reply. i sat in from of my computer for 5 minutes, i waited for it. in the 10 minutes, im not happy. in the 15 minutes, i wanted to die, or to kill a people. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!! my intel core 2 extreme quad cores is the best microprocessor ever, which can save any games in 5 seconds. for simcity 4, it can took 7 seconds to save it when i had 550k pops below but now no.

i remember i installed the RH Plop Mod Final.

Try fragmenting the drive that the SimCity 4 save files are stored.
