I made my CJ to see what other Sim City 4 "fans" would want in city. i intend to post several "skyscrapers wanted" or "new Districts to be added" or "sports complex desired" to see what other people would use in the areas i laid forth. i don't want to sound like i'm begging, but i really need input, in order to "run my city" cause i truely do want to take the advice of my readers (or picture lookers) into Account!

With Thanks, now and to come

Your city's fairly low-rise right now.  If you plan to build up quickly i'd like to see this in that empty lot!.  I've never used it before, but I think it might look nice surrounded by a few mid-rises

    THE PHILEGO POST>3.gif>

A bill was passed in City Council Last week, mandating the rezoning of 6 of the 7 current Philego Districts. “This is just something that needs to happen” says Chairwomen Hillary R. Clint. City planners had originally zoned the city for a population of 30000, much less than the city already accommodates. Adding in the commuters from other areas of the county, the limit has been far exceeded. On top of that, the current zoning just looks bad! With no other options, Council Decided to act upon the only (radical) solution. While city infrastructure will remain the same, buildings and zoning (obviously) will change. Listed below are the effects of the Rezoning Act for Beautification and Alleviation (RABA).>3.gif>

    -       The city’s Central Business District is to be moved from North Downs to Old Quarter, in a more central location, for greater access to major roads such as I-1, I-3 and Terrace Avenue. >3.gif>

    -       North Downs will remain a commercial district; however, all mid to high rises are to be moved to Old Quarter. The only exception to this is the Audio Heaven Building>3.gif>

    -       All commercial areas that were previously outside of North Downs (the former CBD), have been consolidated inside of Old Quarter. This action was taken because traffic to these commercial areas would bring congestion to the residential areas in which they were located. All of Old Quarter has now been rezoned for commercial use.>3.gif>

    -       Areas in which commercial districts were previously located have been turned into housing developments, as this new zoning plan can handle a larger population. >3.gif>

Also in the News, the NewsNow Co. has been granted a lot in which to build their new Corprate Headquarters within the new CBD after a generous donation to one of the cities new Parks. the building is officially titled 1550 Terrace Avenue, however it is more commonly Known as the News Tower
