Welcome to my first City Journal, Republic of Grazailia

National Flag:

The Green means the Evergreen Forest, Blue means the Grazailian Sea, Red means the blood of the soldiers that fought for Freedom, and the Golden Yellow stands for the Desert to the West

newgrazailianflagtn9.jpg

Introduction:

On a planet called Planet Sim, where our world is mixed together with fantasy. Everything is the same, except that we are the gods, we are the controllers. Controlling sims and be a mayor to run for a city.

Republic of Grazailia was once a settlement for the Grazailian Empire, the strongest empire on Planet Sim. But because of many uprisings within the empire, it eventually collapsed. At the same time, the Nesbian Empire attacked. Grazailia was in a complete mess, until a hero named Defacto came into Idonbrook and reunited the Grazailians against the Nesbians.

After the Nesbian War, Defacto was elected the first Prime Minister of Grazailia and he started his journey of governing Republic of Grazailia, which eventually became the strongest nation in the region.

Important:

My pictures are mostly compressed! But some of them are old so their resolution is 1024X768, while the new ones are 1680X1050 with crystal clear quality.

Mods I have used:

NAM, RHW, SAM, HSRP, Demand Mod, Columbus Terrain, Peg Water Mod, Seaport Mod, ACB-VLT Jets of the Sky, RMIP 2.0, American Dark Asphalt Textures(RHW), Asphalt Highway Textures, Night Mod(Gizmo)

Capital: Idonbrook

Wow! This long and I'm the first comment? Strange! But anyways, well done.

This is the greatest CJ introduction I've seen in a long time! It has a good backstory, and the RHW really adds to it.

If this is a sample of what's to come, I'll be looking forward to it  44.gif

Cool! This is the first example i've seen where the Burj Dubai doesn't look too out of place. I can't put it into any of my cities! The nightshot is excellent. I'd like to see some of those dark spaces illuminated though. I'm interested in seeing what you've done with them!

Sorry about the late update due to RL. I'm also sorry about the small update today.

    Update 3(quite small):

    Carisa: Town Outside the Capital

& GER (Grazailian Express Railway) Central Station in Idonbrook

    Grazailian Express Railway Central Station

    idonbrookmar20205121448hi7.jpg

Because of the Central Station, nearby Commercial and Residential Districts have grown in a incredible rate.

    Carisa

    Population: 3814 (2008 Census)

Carisa is a small town west of Idonbrook. It is a very peaceful town with large amounts of retired R$$ and R$ who can't afford the high urban taxes and expensive apartments.

    carisaaug12031214492700lo3.jpg

Carisa has a small portion land used as Manufacturing Industry and High Tech Industry.

    carisaaug22031214494304wv1.jpg

There, you can see the M14 cut through the forest.

    Mini-Update:

This interchange took me an hour to only plan and construct...

    monteldetriseoct2906121af3.jpg

Not so sure what it is, but I think it's a T-Interchange with a 1/2 Avenue Interchange.

Constructed in the countryside of Montel De Trise.

Just a small update before I sleep:

Lar Pam de Riveres-Night overall shot

    larpamderiveresjan19851mz8.jpg

My first city I have ever built in Simcity 4. Used to be horrible until I hear a gigantic, wonderful fansite called Simtropolis.

    Carisa-New Developments?

The mayor of Carisa had decided to change the northern part of the small peaceful town Carisa. The development will bring in more residents for taxes. Note the townhouses...

    carisajan29341214617449vh7.jpg

Fortunately, the southern end of Carisa will stay the same way-a suburb, for now.....

    carisaapr11331214617335ev6.jpg

Stay tuned for the next update!

    Update Time:

    San Marco - Population: 380478

San Marco is the second largest city in Grazailia, belongs to the Coastline Development Union sponsored by Province of Alimenta.

San Marco is the Capital of Alimenta, also the largest(obviously).

Alimenta Provincial Legislature with 2 Bus Stations for San Marco Horacio Intl. Airport

    sanmarconov305561214691ss8.jpg

    sanmarcodec135561214691cf5.jpg

    Note the Airport Tram:

This station had been used way too much for Horacio Intl. Airport and Long-Range Buses. San Marco city government had decided to lower fares of HSR line that goes to the Airport.

    Very nice update!

Great skyline its extremely bright lol the night time modd

totally works for you city setting.

How about some sea walls though to keep the

    waters at bay?

Just a suggestion, everything else looks amazing!

Tigerplayer91: Thanks! Nice to see you here! The thing about seawalls is that the coast is irregular and the coastlin is not quite sharp, but smooth.

    Update 5:

    Alexandria: Population- 86542

2 Pairs of Double Towers(Landmark of the city!)

    -Ignore the zots please...

    alexandriajan2451121474do9.jpg

Alexandria is quite of a small modern city. All of its historical features were wiped out during the Nesbian War(sighs).

    alexandriajan2653121474ai5.jpg

    Cape Vernon International Race Circuit

This is quite of a confusing race track... Cape Vernon also has a radio telescope due to the advantages of being on the top of the mountain and away from the city.

    capevernonaug2702121474cp9.jpg

Turtle Island Cruise Ship Port and Resorts

Turtle Island is one of the place that every cruise should stop. There are small but fine diners serving delicious food(grilled shrimp, grilled fish, lobsters, etc.), and wonderful hotel( there's only one - Island Hotel - 5 star)

The Sea Princess and the Star are parking at the port.

    turtleislandmay16031214xc7.jpg

The blue building on the right is Island Hotel.

Idonbrook reaches population of 1 million! To celebrate this, I will give a new update!

    Idonbrook City Airport

The runway is actually long enough for a Boeing 757, so the 737s don't have to warry about skyscrapers on runway approach.

    idonbrookdec10200121413ru1.jpg

Idonbrook City Airport only serve CRJs, DC-3s and 737s
