Is this normal?

I recently got SC4:RH and my cities have a very strange income/expenses ratio. I have a CBD with 100 thousand residents. I have everything: water, power, museums, colleges etc, so I spend about $90,000 a month, but on the other side, I get $1,700,000 from taxes (mostly commercial, but residential also has a fair share in this amount). That means I'm getting about 20 times more money than I spend. I accumulated about $600 million this way. Is this normal or some error from a mod. I have Radical ordinance v2 mod, but I don't ever use it and I'm sure I had this problem before I installed it.

that's not normal. Unless you're just really good at this game!! I've heard that there's a maximum ammount of money you're allowed to have in the coffers, and after that the game crashes. i have no proof though, I think i saw it in a thread here somewhere. Try giving someone a tax break, or placing lots more parks and civic buildings.

To have that much income with only 100 000 sims is not normal though. I suspect it comes from one of the mods you're using. Sorry I can't help further. I've never had this problem myself!

psander5: The limit is incredibly high, you'd be in the 1,000,000,000,000,000(,000) before you messed it up, unless you have something that earns a couple hundred billion every month.

I think you might have one of the mods that causes the tax rate by default to give out more money, it may be in the radical ordinance, or it may be in another mod, such as the one that changes how much you start with. Check to see if any ordinances are active, and disable them and remove the mod temporarily to see if it effects the tax rate...

...if you have nothing against your income from taxes being so high, then drop all the ones making income to 0.1, then raise them up to match your expenses. If you can't make it match and don't want to remove the mod, then simply eliminate almost all of the taxes on the ones that have the highest demand.

Phew! Thanks Rymac91 for clearing that up. I thought it was a bit less, but i guess there's no need for admiral norton to worry just yet!
