Hey, I just have a quick question:

Is there a way to change your region name? How?

Thanks!

Go to My Documents/SimCIty 4/Regions then find your region and change the name of the region folder.

    The config is a bitmap image showing the number and size of the cities in the region.

    It's actually the Configuration Settings file titled "region" that opens in notepad. In it you can change the name. This SHOULD work in the game.

    Hello Russ93Plyr,

    Yes, the region folder name is for the end-user (human?) benefit;

    the in-game-region name is in the "region.ini" file within that region folder.

    Not to be confused with each region's config.bmp file.

    No detail is too small to be micromanaged.
