Ok.

So I am sitting here drooling over all of these CJ's that I'm looking at. Wondering why I can't build something so very very awesome like that. 

I have a secret adoration of asian themed things, so those are my favorite.

Anyways, I'm wondering where do you get all the themed stuff? I'm considering purchasing the STEX volumes with my next paycheck. Is that basically a user created expansion pack of awesome lots and stuff? Does it have more trees (like those seasonal ones)? Does it include themed sets? Are they growable or just ploppable?

Also, if you add buildings into your plug-in folder, does it automatically knock out all the Maxis defaults? Can you create your own tabs to make your own 'building' style so that perhaps the 'asian' kind are the only ones you see? Hopefully these questions are clearer than they sound to me.

I just downloaded the NAM this morning and that is wicked beyond all words....and know I'm considering learning to make BAT's, just to feel cool, and you know really create my own cities. Does the BAT program let you say choose how many kids can go to an elementary school? Or how much police coverage one building can cover? Stuff like that....

Thanks in advance for all the help with the question answering....I'm just so sick of my cities being giant squares of city boringness...I want them to be a pretty as everyone elses with too much time on their hands Lol.

there is a mod that blocks all maxis buildings. try and find it on the Mods & Downloads section.
