Problems with trainstations on Mac

Hello, I have some downloaded trainstations, like Hasbury Station, Connexxion Station, Langstrath Station and Barons Cross station. It seems that these stations have a very low capacity on SC4 Rush Hour on my Mac (below 10). Is this fixable, or is someone willing to fix this for the people who use Macs? The three stations are very good looking and fit perfectly in certain city's I have made, but the capacity problem keeps me from using them. Kind regards, Tjeerd a.k.a. Moby92

If I am correct this is a natural bug with custom stations and Macs. Do you have all the SC4 patches? I also believe someone made a fix for this and put it on the STEX. Sorry, would give more details but search is busted.

Btw you might get more answers int he mac forum. 1.gif

I really need a fix for the langstrath station. It's the only station that fits in the environment.

This is a known bug, and it's caused by the SC4Tool (I don't say do not use SC4Tool, it takes the transit-enabling procedure one level up, but it just has this bug).

Fortunately, this is easy to fix: in iLive, go to the station's building exemplar, find the Transit Switch Traffic Capacity property and set the rep count to 0, not 1: double-click on the property, and in the property editor dialog, select the capacity value, right-click and select "Copy", then clear the edit-box, click Apply, paste the (copied) value, and click Apply again; then save the file and exit.

    Hope this helps.

    Yeah, you're right, stupid me!

I could make the fix for you, but the "correct" procedure is to notify Tonkso (to fix the plugin and update it on the STEX). This piece of work isn't mine so I shouldn't release "fixes" or "updates" of it (at least without the author's permission).

Just had a look in Tonko's upload and I have some comments to make:

    - The steps mentioned above should be applied to the Transit Switch Entry Cost property too (the rep count must be 0 as well).

    - The .SC4Desc file is not needed for ploppables, as a copy of the building exemplar is put in the .SC4Lot file automatically (by the Lot Editor). Updating this file has no effect because the lot actually uses the one in the .SC4Lot file (this is the file that should be updated). So the .SC4Desc file can be deleted.

    - The .sav must be deleted too. It's a backup file created by the SC4 Tool, and contains probably an earlier version of the lot.

You can notify Tonkso, to take a look at these, if you wish.
