Hi. I just have a simple question and that is, Is there a way to hide building while placeing Subway stations? I have tried to put the view in ZONE view, but when I click on Subways it pops up all the buildings but takes away the roads. It's IMPOSSIBLE to place subways when there are Skyscrapers every where. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Well its really difficult to plan ahead because you never know exactly where the population

will be concentrated, though you can slightly manipulate it. So lay your subway before you start growing buildings, and build parks and plazas. That way later on you can demolish part of the park and put in a subway station.

This is what I do anyway...

Wow so I guess I'm screwed for the moment then =) I have a few more questions about subways if you don't mind?

    1. Can Stations be placed in the middle of a zone and not placed beside a street?

1a. Should the track run under the road?

    2. Does the subway have to conect togeather to as a circut? ( Like a circle ). Or can it just be one stright line?

    3. Does the direction of Stations mean any thing?

1: Stations need to be placed by a road so they can be accessed by pedestrians via street.

1a.: I tend to place my routes in the most direct way possible, which is not always right under the street. Example: say your roads go in a grid, it would take longer for the subway to follow the grid rather than just make a diagonal cut straight to the station you want it to go to.

2.:It doesnt have to connect as a circuit, a straight line is fine lol.

    3. Direction of stations doesnt affect which way the train will travel.

    hope i helped!
