How to clean air?

I recently downloaded some Air Purifiers, my guess is they clean the air?

Well....mines not working!

Can you give me a link to some that work, or give me some tips on getting rid of the pollution.

I've raised the tax, planted loads of tree and placed loads of parks. Nothin' seems to work.

lol you may have LA syndrome.

Check your commute. If you have many people traveling by car this might be the problem. In that case implement mass transit.

Check city ordinances. Clean air act, automobile emission reduction can help in this way.

Also if the problem is your indursty, you should try to upgrade to high tech.

Try the following steps;

1) Add Transit

2) Add Trees

3) Increase Taxes on Dirty Industry, and destroy those that spout a lot of smoke

4) Add more parks

BURY YOUR INTERSTATES!

Simply raise the elevation of the route you want to build, then build your interstate tunnel. After that, level out the hill you made so that it is flat like it used to be. However, DO NOT level the land near the tunnel entrances. Build streets around your tunnel entrances to flatten the land there, then just delete the streets. 

Voila!  Less pollution.  

The only interstate pollution I have is from where the interstates are above ground -- my interchanges only.
