Have I hit a demand cap?

45k pop, got schools, medical, connections, power watwer etc etc, RCI indicators are all up but the pop count isn't increasing. Do I need to zone more R, or do I just wait for more sky scrappers to appear.

Should I be using Low, med or high density, what difference does it make?

One more question.....

I have downloaded several .sc4lot files and put them into the plugins directory, some appear in misc transport which work OK, some appear in misc transport but dont seem to work correctly, i.e. a bus terminus, if I use the query tool it says 85% used, but if I query it with the transport query tool it says no commuters, where the original bus stop gives both figures,  or a downloaded file just does not appear anywhere.

Is this just the risk you take with add-ons? Or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks alot

Downloads are tricky, very...make sure you have all dependencies, otherwise it will never work properly. If you have all the dependencies, well then...I don't know, mine work just fine4.gif

45k pop is not a big number, although it is big enough for high rises, zone medium and high density, and if that doesn't work, zone more residential...The difference is that in low density areas, the max number you'll get on a 2x3 tile is about 20 residents. Medium density zones allowes you to build mid-rises, and high density zones allowes high rises...same applies for commercial and industrial as well...
